This means that as an Audi Technician you will go above and beyond to make sure that the customer will be taken care of. You will achieve this by checking for any possible issues that could prevent problems in the future and give the customer an honest assessment. Our role will be to support, train and guide you through your Audi journey ensuring that you have every opportunity to be one of the best Audi technicians in our team. With the fast pace of automotive technology, it is important that you enjoy staying on top of the latest automotive technology and you seek to learn new techniques and skills. Our Ideal Candidate will have: · A relevant trade qualification with recent work experience or a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience. · Experience with Audi/European vehicles. · A great work ethic and problem-solving skills. · Great time-management and ability to meet deadlines. · A current full driver’s licence. · Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. The Role: · Ensure that vehicle faults are fixed on the first visit and in line with Audi requirements. · Repair, replacement, preventative maintenance and diagnostic work on engine parts and electrical faults. · Reassemble, test, clean and adjust repairs or replacement of assemblies and ensure work is undertaken effectively. · Support as necessary the supervision of apprentices. · Maintain the professional and tidy appearance and presentation of workshop services area and ensure that tools and equipment are clean, tidy and maintained. · Ensure that all warranty parts are securely and accurately tagged and stored in the appropriate location. · Identify problems, determine the relationship between cause and effect and examine information from different sources to determine the best course of action. · Effectively communicate with vehicle drivers/operators to seek necessary information to ascertain faults including test drives when necessary. · Use electronic test equipment to locate and correct malfunctions in lighting, instrumentation, electronic fuel injection, ignition and emissions control systems. · Oversee the diagnosis, repair and replacement of minor body or trim repairs. You will also be: · A good communicator and collaborator with strong verbal, written, listening and interpersonal skills. · A proactive problem solver who is process-driven and organised with strong initiative and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
