About the role:
As part of our executive leadership team, Regional General Managers are responsible for leading a large team and a portfolio of 30-40 restaurants. Your team of Area Managers and support functions are responsible for the success of your state by driving sales, maximising revenue & profit outcomes with a big focus on people.
You, as the senior leader are accountable for the above and below.
* Grill’d People: Recruit & retain restaurant leaders who represent the Grill’d values and bring them to life in their restaurants – Passion, Leadership, Ownership, Trust & Sustainability.
* Grill’d Experience: Ensuring the Grill’d experience is being delivered to our customers. From our local matters program, floor experience, food quality to customer feedback
* Training & Coaching: Responsible for ensuring all training (inductions, online training, workshops, onboarding from Team Member to Franchise Partner) plans are on track
* Performance Planning: Develop and execute annual strategic plans across your territory setting clear goals and objectives aligned to Grill’d business, revenue and profit objectives
* Governance & Compliance: Ensuring your state is compliant with food safety and providing a safe work environment. You will also familiarise yourself with the Grill’d systems, including managing labour & stock.
What we're looking for:
* You have a passion for hospitality, developing people and driving performance
* Previous experience within a state based or national senior leadership role within multi-site management. We are open to industry experience, but it would highly advantageous if you had hospitality, retail, or entertainment
* A passionate leader who leads from the front that is inspirational, and has a proven track record of developing successful teams
* Strong commercial acumen, negotiations skills with the natural ability to build rapport across all levels
* You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and think outside the box. We love new ideas and are not afraid test them
* This role will require some travel interstate throughout the year
