We are searching for an experienced Bakery Assistant to join a highly regarded food manufacturer in Yatala. This client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality frozen goods and baked products, supplying a range of products to supermarkets and retailers across Australia. This client has been supplying to the Food Service, Hospitality and Supermarket sector for over 50 years, and continues to deliver food products. Become part of their growing team today Key Tasks / Responsibilities: In this position you will: Operate and monitor industrial food production machines and equipment. Perform quality inspections on finished products. Maintain production schedules and meet targets. Ensure machines are properly cleaned, maintained, and serviced. Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards. Assist with general food production tasks as required. You are also responsible for: Reading and interpreting information provided on batch sheets. Manually loading ingredients (lifting & loading). Operating machinery. Recording of weights, times, volumes as required. Experience / Required Skills: To be eligible for the role you must have the following skills/experience: Previous experience as a line operator or a similar role preferred. Baker qualification/bakery experience preferred. Capable of lifting product up to 20 KGs as part of the regular duties of the production process. Ability to work well within a team environment. Effective communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a repetitive environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced food production facility.
