Great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to secure a role within an Australian manufacturer within the hair and cosmetics spaceAbout your new Company Our amazing client is a leading Australian brand within the hair care and cosmetic industry.They have been serving the hair care industry for over 30 years and is continually growing to meet market demands with their Australian made products.They have a strong commitment to the future, and strongly opposes animal testing and does not use this practice nor any derived ingredients in the manufacture of its products.Their complete haircare range is proudly cruelty free and vegan friendly and all products are vegan certified and accredited by Vegan Australia, using plant based and certified organic ingredients that are sustainably farmed and wild harvested wherever possible.Today, they continue to ensure responsible manufacturing, plus look for every opportunity to increase their environmental accountability across all areas of their business.About your new role As the Operations Manager your role is to manage the plant and site operations by coaching, developing and leading staff, and to drive the commercial success of the plant.Your responsibilities will focus on, but won't be limited to: Support and leading the manufacturing, warehouse and operational support teams to achieve/exceed KPI's and deliver on productivity targets and operational improvement Manage maintenance programs and site services and lead operational support team to ensure site and plant is performing in an efficient occurs minimal downtime Recruitment, retention and training of the staff to ensure operational excellence and KPI's delivery Ensuring staff and labour requirements and are optimised and meet the needs of the business Execute and drive the site production schedules and plans to ensure continuous flow of manufacturing and product demands are being consistently met Lead and coach on continuous improvement initiatives in conjunction with the leadership group, to reduce cost and waste, improve productivity and quality Investigate and develop solutions with the site leadership group for operational issues across the site About you To be successful in this role, you will have the following: Have strong leadership and site operations experience gained from a manufacturing environment Proven ability to be agile and adaptable with fast decision-making skills with changing demands Excellent time management skills and guide team to achieve their KPI's and milestones Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to analyse data, identify trends and make informed decisions You must be able to drive change and achieve excellent results through effective leadership Strong commercial awareness and an ability to liaise with all of the various stakeholders in the business Must have advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP system experience.(SAP, Navision Dynamic or similar) What's in it for you Competitive salary of up to $150,000 + Super Permanent opportunity with an Australian manufacturer Onsite parking If this sounds like you 'APPLY NOW' or contact Julie Luszczynski via or for further information and a confidential conversation#J-18808-Ljbffr
