About the role
Permanent full time or part time opportunity to provide an efficient booking service for all patients, and efficient utilisation of booking time available for Clinicians. This role will provide a high level of customer service, demonstrating understanding, empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
1. Ensure prospective patients are booked for appointments and have been placed on a respective waiting list within the timeframes indicated, by using the Oral Health Information System (ISOH). Staff who work within the area need to be meticulous in work processes and meet timeframes to ensure no unwarranted delays occur in the care being provided to the client.
2. A continually developing understanding of administrative and organisational skills used to maximise booking utilisations.
3. Proficiently complete functions associated with the wait listing of patients, bookings for appointments, managing appointment cancellations, and rescheduling and removals from the waiting list by using the relevant information systems.
4. Maintain the waiting list by ensuring accurate and complete additions, amendments, ongoing verification, and appropriate delegations and by ensuring all waitlists are accurate and maintained in accordance with the audit policy process.
