Base pay range
A$100,000.00/yr - A$120,000.00/yr

With over 30 years’ experience, we are known for providing advice to our customers on optimising their design, processes and systems by using the world's most capable design software (SolidWorks and 3D CAD/CAE/CAM/PDM), utilising the best people.
Due to continued growth, we have 2 Product Specialist SIM roles available and seek to place one Product Specialist to work out of our Clayton Office, Victoria.
The Product Specialist – Simulation main focus is to drive sales of the company's products within the simulation product range. You will be rewarded for your success with a competitive base salary (based on experience) and the ability to earn uncapped commissions in recognition of the sales you convert and performance targets.
The focus of the role is to expand our specialised products and services into the market.
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor’s degree and above, ideally in Mechanical/electrical Engineering discipline – Essential.
* 3-5 years of sales expertise and experience ideally to manufacturing companies.
* Knowledge in 3D CAD/CAE/ advanced FEA/CFD/EMAG simulation.
* Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to effectively communicate to all levels and understand and explain complex technical information.
* Experience in the manufacturing or engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake active prospecting and networking in the manufacturing sector to find prospective new customers to sell the Ci UVP and simulation product range.
* Demonstrate mastery of sales and pipeline management to meet sales and revenue targets set for the role.
* Manage the sales pipeline to create meaningful and accurate sales forecasts.
* Prepare call lists and make calls to prospective new clients to meet with key stakeholders to discuss their critical business issues and opportunities with our product lines.
* Ensure accurate and timely records of all client contact is recorded within the CRM.
* Maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders/clients at various forums within allocated territory as a representative of the business.
* Conduct presentations to key stakeholders and potential clients using PowerPoint presentations.
Requirements:
* Industry knowledge in Manufacturing and/or Technology sectors.
* Proven success in achieving sales objectives.
* A full driver’s licence and access to a motor vehicle as travel to and from various client sites will be an essential part of the role.
* Solid commercial insight with experience working in a corporate environment.
* Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and engage both internal and external stakeholders with the highest integrity.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* A customer-centric mindset and the ability to build rapport quickly.
* A degree in Engineering and/or Business Management or a related discipline is highly regarded.
We offer a competitive salary package dependent upon experience including a commission structure that rewards you as you achieve the sales revenue targets and performance activities set for the role.
