Adventure Park Geelong, Victoria's biggest water theme park, presents a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Food and Beverage enthusiast to join our team.This exciting role in a dynamic and fast-growing company in Geelong will see you form part of the Food and Beverage Team.You will work closely with and report to the Food and Beverage Manager and Managing Directors.About us: We are a regionally based 50-acre theme park dedicated to families and young teenagers.With 21 state-of-the-art, world-class rides and attractions, including a dedicated waterpark, dry rides, and activities, we seasonally operate through the day with evening events.Adventure Park values family fun and interaction.Enjoy a variety of experiences in a diverse role, and be part of something special, contributing to the running of a nationally leading water theme park.Job Summary: The Food and Beverage Assistant Manager role will form part of the Food and Beverage Team working alongside our Food and Beverage Manager.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of our Food & Beverage operations.You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences and food offerings.You will play a pivotal role in maximizing sales and revenue by consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations, fostering employee engagement, and maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities: Operational Excellence in Food Service:Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service.Food preparation and adherence to food safety guidelines.Monitoring the performance of outlets and staff.Providing support to Food and Beverage Attendants as required.Leading the team with a positive attitude to foster the same mentality with the 250+ Food and Beverage employees.Identifying customers' needs and responding proactively to their concerns.Inventory Management:Undertaking inventory purchases and receiving goods.Effective forecasting, planning, and managing Food and Beverage stock.Training Implementation and Management:Implementing and reviewing training modules and evaluating performance.Delegating responsibilities to supervisors and staff.Rostering and Labour Focus:Rostering and staff labour, reviewing staffing requirements during operational and planning phases.Recruitment process and onboarding/offboarding of employees.Forecasting, planning, and managing Food and Beverage labour requirements.General:Managing all Food and Beverage day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.Evaluating operational periods detailing labour, execution, and economic impact.Designing exceptional menus, purchasing goods, and continuously making necessary improvements.Conducting all roles as a general Food and Beverage Attendant or Supervisor as required.Handling the operational needs of a fast-paced environment while managing up to 16 outlets at any given time across both day and night events.Complying with all health and safety regulations.Planning, analyzing, and implementing new activations during operational periods.Creating and implementing policies and procedures to manage daily operations of the department.Qualifications & Capabilities: Essential Skills and Competencies: Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Food and Beverage management role.Current RSA & Food Safety Certificate.Current Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain.Strong interpersonal skills.Exceptional customer service.Proven leadership in managing a large team.Self-motivated and willing to lead by example.Strong organizational and time management skills.Effective communication with the Food and Beverage Manager/Duty Managers and the team.Detail-oriented focus on food safety.Positive and professional attitude with an enthusiastic personality.Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.Ability to work on your feet for long periods.Ability to work under pressure during peak times.Efficient problem-solving skills.Mastery in delegating multiple tasks.Proven leadership skills.Proficiency in MS Office products – Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.Full availability during operational periods, including school holidays.Desirable Skills and Competencies (but not essential): Experience with and working knowledge of Deputy.Permanent Role with immediate start.Remuneration to reflect qualifications and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
