Your Role
As the Payroll Officer you will support the Society’s payroll function, total remuneration, and benefits framework to ensure the Society can attract and retain all relevant skills and capabilities. Ensure the frameworks are compliant with all laws and regulations.
Your Responsibility
* Responsible for the Security and creation of Access Profiles for all Managers and Self-Serve Users.
* Use Preceda to support the entire Payroll Team’s functions. This includes entering information about new employees; ensure data about employees, the Society’s organisational charts and pay rates are accurate and up to date; amending rules and procedures in Preceda and Preceda time to suit operations.
* Maintain Vintranet site with Payroll information and forms for payroll usage.
* Perform administrative tasks including processing PPL (Paid Parental Leave via PRODA (Centrelink), remit funds and create journals in Business Central; write Letters of Service and complete Separation Certificates online (Centrelink) upon request; create files and reports relating to PAYG Tax Clearing; and support the management of salary packaging through Smart Salary and other internal processes, as directed, from time to time.
You Will Need
* Deliver multiple administrative support activities and services in line with agreed standards, timeframes, and milestones.
* Ensure all payrolls that the Team is responsible for are completed in a timely manner and paid on the correct pay dates.
* Ensure data and information recorded and maintained by the Payroll Team is accurate, rigours and up to date.
* Support the flow of information between teams and directorates to inform decision making relating to remuneration.
