A leading consumer packaged goods company known for its innovative health, wellness, and personal care products, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Project Manager to spearhead a critical 6 month project. With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we are looking for an individual who can drive operational excellence and efficiency in our logistics processes.
About the Role:
As the Logistics Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the transition to a new 3PL provider. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire logistics operation, ensuring seamless integration of new processes and systems to enhance our supply chain efficiency and meet our strategic objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to lead change and make a significant impact within a global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the transition from the current logistics setup to a new 3PL provider.
2. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Operations, and IT teams, to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
3. Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and milestones for the transition process.
4. Monitor and assess performance metrics to optimize logistics operations and drive continuous improvement.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the transition and beyond
Skills & Experience:
6. Proven experience (5+ years) in logistics management, preferably with a focus on 3PL transitions or supply chain optimization projects.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
8. Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery on time and within budget.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
10. Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
11. Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
12. Experience in the consumer goods or retail industry is preferred
