About the role:
We are looking to recruit a Customer Service Officer to support our Commercial Building division. This exciting role will be reporting directly to the Customer Service Team Lead based in either Orange or Rhodes location.
As unique as this role is, we also require an exceptional problem solver, who has the potential to make a real genuine difference by putting our team and customers always first. Being an inspirational team member who has pragmatic thinking and thrives in a fast pace environment. Being responsible for the day-to-day sales support of the commercial sales team, whilst ensuring the highest level of customer service in the network is maintained. You will have sound in-depth building / construction & supply chain knowledge and experience paired with excellent influence skills that enable the team to thrive while ensuring continuous success & development of our commercial strategies.
What's involved:
1. Process Purchase Orders for our Volume Clients
2. Contribute to a great team culture
3. Be the conduit between our customer service teams & order fulfilment sites
4. Build strong relationships with all Internal stakeholders
5. Support accurate orders for our account management teams
6. Work with our CRM system stakeholders to ensure all interactions are delivered through this system to become one point for our customers
7. Listen & action customer feedback to improve overall customer service experience whilst supporting the relationship and retention of our customer base
8. Identify performance issues and coach team members
9. Address accuracy & attention to detail regularly
10. Meet key performance indicators including all process and procedures
You'll need:
1. Territory Qualification or similar would be ideal
2. Building / Construction knowledge
3. Strong previous leadership experience
4. Strong Admin Skills
5. Strong attention to detail
6. Be open to coaching and supportive feedback
7. Excellent telephone manner
8. Good verbal and written communication skills.
9. Resilient with the ability to problem solve
10. Open to new and work within a continuously improving environment
11. Customer-focused; responsive to customer needs.
12. A strong desire to keep up to date with the latest trends in the whole of house offer and developments in building products and material supply requirements in construction.
13. Strong planning & organising skills
14. Computer literacy with Microsoft Suite and Salesforce
