The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Group Fitness professional with at least 2 years of Group Fitness experience and management experience to join our team as a Group Fitness Manager at our Beenleigh Goodlife Health club.
You will be responsible for leading, mentoring and developing the performance of your Group Fitness team, promoting group fitness opportunities and initiatives to our members, increasing member engagement, and enhancing membership value.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Attracting and recruiting Group Fitness Instructors who share our passion for fitness.
* Scheduling: Managing and timetabling up to 100 Group Fitness classes weekly.
* New Instructor Onboarding: Coaching, motivating and inspiring new Group Fitness Instructors to become part of our team.
* Culture Development: Building a culture where your team loves to come to work and our members love to work out.
* Program Development: Creating fun and focused club experiences by organising, marketing and running group exercises that meet the needs of our members.
* Quality Assurance: Continuing to raise the Goodlife standard by running Group Exercises that are energetic, focused and professional.
* Budget Management: Managing Group Fitness budgets and preparing related reports.
* Brand Ambassadorship: Acting as a role model, motivator and Goodlife brand ambassador.
* Member Experience: Providing an expert Goodlife experience at every touch point - Acquisition, integration and visitation.
* Workplace Safety: Willingness to comply with and carry out all implemented Work Health and Safety related activities and processes.
Requirements
* Group Fitness Experience: A passion for and significant experience as a Group Fitness Instructor, ideally Les Mills or studio style.
* Management Experience: Previous managerial experience in a health club or gym and a passion for developing people to perform at their full potential.
* Registration and Certifications: Registration with Fitness Australia, First Aid and CPR certifications, and a Certificate III in Group Exercise Instruction.
