Grain Receival Operator (Casual)

Main Responsibilities:
* Control room operations, operate Smart Scales bulk handling system, updating daily grain tonnes.
* Observe Bunge site via the closed-circuit camera system for any hazards.
* Run shipping from the CSM computer system, controlling tonnage rates, inspecting trends, monitoring equipment conditions.
* Operate site Telehandler e.g. lifting equipment, working at heights tasks, spotter.
* Site hygiene at fixed plant and other work areas as required.
* Complete Job Hazard Analysis permit, confined space permit.
* Test and Try Lock Out and Tag Out equipment.
* Attend daily safety pre-start meetings.
* Compliance to OH&S, HR and Quality policies and procedures and Bunge code of conduct.
* Assist maintenance team at Bunge sites - Bunbury, Arthur River, Kukerin.
* Develop knowledge and an understanding of the operations including fixed plant and mobile equipment.
* Develop knowledge of terminal procedures, processes, and policies.
* Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge and Technical Competencies
* ESSENTIAL:
o Must have valid Western Australian C class driver’s license.
DESIRABLE:
* High Risk Work training including Confined Space
* Gas testing ticket
* Working at heights ticket
Education / Experience:
* High level of interpersonal skills, including assertiveness, communication, and time management.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
* Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
* Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
