This role is responsible for the maintenance, overhaul and repair of machinery and equipment. The Fitter will be working in a fast-paced environment, delivering a safe and committed effort to service our workplace needs. This role requires forward thinking and sound initiative in order to achieve results safely within a team environment. This position is based at Currumbin.What will you be doing?Accurately report work undertaken and provide feedback on the condition of all equipmentMaintain and operate the preventative maintenance program in a timely mannerDeliver a prompt response to all requests for mechanical repairs through our maintenance requisition systemAssist in maintaining appropriate levels of spare equipment to ensure production reliability and minimise downtimeProvide maintenance fitting/ mechanical dutiesProvide technical advice and support as required in order to resolve work problems or assist employees in problem solvingUse initiative to correct any obvious minor defects noticed during routine inspectionsBuild strong relationships with senior management and staff across the companyComplete the required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
