About The Role
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for asset systems and spatial technology? We're looking for a strategic thinker to lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality solutions for internal and external clients.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Manage the installation, operation and development of asset and spatial systems. Lead and coordinate joint Assets and Spatial initiatives, projects and working groups with a focus on Tech1 EAM assets and spatial modules. Implement practices to maintain and enhance the accuracy and consistency of information held in GIS and integration with other client systems. Ensure the integrity of data from both internal and external sources. Develop and implement operational/business plans in line with Council's corporate plan and departmental strategic plans. Train clients in the use of products, methods of operation, system use and broad GIS and spatial concepts. To Be Successful, You'll Need
Tertiary qualifications (minimum Bachelor's Degree) in Information Technology or Spatial Science, or equivalent industry experience. Highly developed people management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate staff within an information services environment. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management and support of an asset management and/or spatial environment and projects. Demonstrated high level of organisational skills including the ability to plan, prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly developed communication skills. Ability to lead, motivate, coach and work as an active team participant. Commitment and experience in providing high quality customer service. Qualifications & Licences
Current QLD Class C Driver's Licence. What's Nice To Have
