Base pay range:
A$90,000.00 / yr - A$200,000.00 / yr
The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Environmental Consultant to lead and manage a team of environmental professionals while driving high-impact projects in soil science, resource recovery, and groundwater monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
* Department Leadership: Oversee and take responsibility for a team of four consultants, ensuring efficient project delivery and continuous professional development.
* Project Management: Manage the end-to-end delivery of environmental consulting projects, ensuring timeframes, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Technical Expertise: Provide high-level expertise in soil science, resource recovery, and groundwater monitoring, ensuring best-practice methodologies and compliance with environmental regulations.
* Field Work & Consulting: Conduct and oversee contaminated land investigations, soil assessments, and groundwater monitoring while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
* Client & Business Development: Maintain and grow client relationships, prepare proposals and tenders, and contribute to new business opportunities.
* Compliance & Safety: Uphold workplace health and safety (WHS) standards and regulatory compliance.
* Operational Excellence: Identify efficiencies, process improvements, and best practices to drive team and business success.
What We’re Looking For:
* Bachelor’s degree in Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (essential).
* Extensive experience in soil science, resource recovery, and contaminated land.
* Strong expertise in groundwater monitoring, including data analysis and regulatory compliance.
* Proven leadership and team management skills in an environmental consulting setting.
* Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
