Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting, you will collaborate with various teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS 16 while supporting key initiatives.Location:Port MelbourneDuration:6 MonthsWork Arrangement:Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)The roleReview weekly Accounts Payable (AP) payments, including customer refunds, employee reimbursements, and AP invoices.Oversee AP reconciliations with our service provider, Accenture, and track Retail Ops' invoicing and payment requests.Prepare FCM travel monthly expenses with accurate coding.Review monthly HSBC credit card reconciliations and ensure timely submission of supporting documents from stakeholders.Manage leases in the Costar database, ensuring compliance with IFRS 16 for 100 leases and liaising with Retail Ops for audit documentation.Support the monthly capitalization process for Fixed Assets and maintain Fixed Assets Registers.Collaborate with the global shared services team to finalize end-of-month transactions, including preparing monthly split reports.Update and maintain the ICC loan between trading entities, including monthly journal preparations for recharges and interest accruals.Complete other ad hoc tasks as required.What we are looking forExperience in a shared service center environment is preferred.Mandatory experience with IFRS 16; familiarity with Costar is a plus.Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in other MS Office programs are essential.Good written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Sounds wonderful?
