An exciting opportunity exists for a career minded professional to join the Marion Holiday Park as a Maintenance Manager. This is a full time position where the successful candidate will work shifts across a 7 day roster – 38 hours per week, with 5 weeks annual leave. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance and upkeep of the Marion Holiday Park, ensuring grounds, facilities and equipment are maintained to a high standard to provide a safe, attractive and well-maintained environment for an exceptional guest experience. The Maintenance Manager will collaborate with the General Manager.Responsibilities Recruit, train, induct and manage a team of grounds and maintenance staff with a focus on providing total customer satisfaction.Foster a positve and collaborative work environment, leading by example, promoting teamwork and a high morale among the staff.Liaise with the General Manager to co-ordinate duties for grounds and maintenance staff and supervise as necessary.Attend weekly meetings with Park Managers to plan and implement projects.Liaise with tradespeople and oversee construction and redevelopment projects.Assisting at times with onsite building works, accommodation renovations and liaising with Contractors in regard to the Holiday Park's services and facilities.Skills, Knowledge and Qualities Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Excellent knowledge of building/maintenance and groundskeeping practices.Strong organisational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritise and delegate effectively.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work hours as required by the Marion Holiday Park.Special Conditions/Clearances Senior First Aid qualification.National Police Clearance.This role may require heavy lifting (up to 20kg), kneeling, squatting, and working with chemicals and machinery.Please apply via Seekor drop your resume and cover letter in toMarion Holiday Park323 Sturt Rd,Bedford ParkApplications close Monday 18th November 2024Only short listed candidates will be contacted.
