This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional looking for flexible hours with a focus on complex employee relations, compliance, and crisis management. About the Position: In this part-time role, you will dedicate approximately 8 hours per month (with the potential for additional hours during critical issues) to provide strategic HR advice. As our On-Demand HR Consultant, you will: Mediate and resolve high-level disputes between employees and management Lead internal investigations into serious matters such as misconduct or discrimination Provide expert guidance on employment laws and policy compliance Support the management team in handling sensitive terminations or disciplinary actions Regularly review and update internal HR policies and procedures Offer crisis management support and risk mitigation strategies Key Requirements: Extensive experience in HR consulting with a focus on dispute resolution Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and compliance standards Proven ability to handle internal investigations and sensitive HR issues Excellent communication skills and a professional, impartial approach Capacity to offer strategic guidance during critical, high-pressure situations Must be based in Sydney On Offer: Flexible, part-time work – approximately 8 hours per month, with potential for more Competitive hourly rate between $75 and $100 per hour Opportunity to work with a dynamic and respected recruitment agency A role where you can truly make an impact on HR strategy and company culture
