Senior SEO Executive
We’re on the look-out for a talented Senior SEO Executive to join our rapidly expanding media team.
The Senior SEO Executive is responsible for achieving organic search results while maintaining quality and standards. Communication, drive, the need to enjoy challenging situations and a systematic/ perfectionist approach to problems are integral to the function. Flexibility, variety and pace are also important aspects to the role.
The successful applicant will work with other specialists, executives and coordinators across Havas to ensure successful delivery of organic search and wider digital marketing products to our clients.
Demonstrable experience across technical, content and link building elements of SEO are essential as well as proactivity and autonomy in recommending and producing result generating work. Relationship management and client facing skills are integral.
The role requires a passion for driving results, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to constantly evolve our approach to drive meaningful growth for clients. You will be an experienced and exceptionally talented individual who is passionate about making media drive results for clients.
Day to day, your role will involve the following core responsibilities:
Delivery of SEO Strategy for our clients
1. Experience with keyword research and copy writing
2. Experience with technical analysis and effective, actionable recommendations
3. Evaluate, propose and implement a full spectrum of SEO opportunities
4. Effective delivery of link building and outreach campaigns as well as competitor insights
5. Optimise performance content and on-page recommendations
6. Google Analytics & reporting expertise
7. Local SEO campaign experience is advantageous
8. Proactively find and recommend effective SEO solutions to your manager
Testing Strategies
9. Deploy testing methodologies on campaigns under the direction of SEO Managers
10. Develop an understanding of the wider digital ecosystem and the modern media agency, as well as employing integration strategies
11. Work with the paid search team to deliver a holistic performance strategy
Relationship building
12. Maintain professional internal and external working relationships
13. Build internal relationships quickly, as working as part of the team is essential
14. Solve potential issues in a collaborative manner
15. Develop relationships with platform account managers
To succeed in this role, you will have:
• 2-3 years of experience in media/digital, specifically in SEO
• Experience in PowerPoint – developing an understanding of the Havas Media templates, charting and animation
• Advanced knowledge of use of Excel including using and creating formulas
• Solid understanding of SEO Specific tools - Proficiency with Searchmetrics, ahrefs, Deepcrawl, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Wordpress, Keyword Planner
• Team player to ensure that you can build and work across number of internal & external stakeholders harmoniously
• Solid experience in SEO strategies conception and delivery for major brands
• Good understanding of the operational approach of digital marketing campaigns outside of SEO
• Ability to update websites via CMS
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Ability to build and strengthen client relationships
• Working knowledge of industry leading SEO tools
• Demonstrable critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
