Our Australia and New Zealand business is growing exponentially - come join us and be part of a dynamic team that is making history At Bloomberg, you will work with the largest global financial corporations and the sharpest minds in the industry The AIM Implementation Team is responsible for solution design and delivery of Order Management, Post Trade, Compliance, and Research Management solutions for Bloomberg's Buy-Side customers. AIM is used by more than 15,000 professionals in nearly 90 countries at over 900 Buy-Side firms, including some of the largest asset managers, hedge funds, insurance companies, pension funds and government agencies. We are on the lookout for a high performing individual who has a track record of navigating large and complex engagements with clients primarily based in Australia and New Zealand. The individual selected for this position will lead high profile initiatives that require team members to have senior level exposure and play an active role in the transformation of investment organizations. A typical implementation is as much about processes and implementing change as it is about investments and technology. We'll trust you to: - Successfully onboard clients onto Bloomberg Buy-Side Solutions - Construct and own detailed project plans and provide project management and governance across the entire life of the project by coordinating with relevant Bloomberg departments, the client and third-party vendor applications - Navigate and organize complex client requirements to clearly define project milestones and timelines with a high degree of confidence and credibility - Establish and maintain strong relationships and communication channels across multiple implementation projects concurrently with varying degrees of asset class and workflow complexities - Understand and design a client's Bloomberg Target Operating Model (TOM) You'll need to have: - Minimum 5 years of enterprise implementation experience, preferably with Order Management, Compliance or Electronic Trading systems - Market knowledge on how various asset classes (i.e., Fixed Income, Equity, Alternatives) are traded in Australia and New Zealand from Front-to-Back - Project management experience, ideally at a large enterprise in the financial industry - Deep knowledge of workflows across portfolio management, order management, trading, compliance, and operations for institutional investment managers - Ability to work across multiple teams and departments, with both internal and external stakeholders - Strong attention to detail, willingness to take proactive action, and desire to roll up sleeves - Ability to navigate and organize complex client requirements to clearly define project milestones and timelines with a high degree of confidence and credibility - Experience working closely with Product Managers to support client development needs - Ability to travel periodically, including international project opportunities across APAC We'd love to see: - Project management experience (e.g., PMP) including the use of project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, etc. - Experience with platform integrations (e.g., interfaces, APIs) - MBA, CFA, or FRM qualifications - Knowledge of buy-side industry trends and standard methodologies for workflows and technology stacks If any of this excites you, we want to talk to you In the meantime, feel free to have a look at this (https://www.bloomberg.com/professional/products/trading/order-management-system/aim/).
