About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate or Research Fellow to join our multidisciplinary team of experimental and computational scientists. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Oliver Rackham, tackling some of the most significant challenges in medicine today, including understanding and building new therapeutic approaches for metabolic and genetic disorders.

The Laboratory of Synthetic Biology and Drug Discovery is a dynamic group with a focus on synthetic biology, high resolution imaging, bioinformatics, genetics, and gene editing, with a particular emphasis on mitochondrial biology and mammalian gene expression.
* Conduct impactful research projects in synthetic biology and related fields.
* Collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to develop innovative solutions.
* Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in relevant techniques, such as cryo-EM or mammalian genetic screens.
