Our business covers various fields such as industrial buildings, commercial and residential constructions and more.Due to business needs and ongoing project growth, we are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to support our engineering and production operations.Your RoleYour primary responsibility is to support the design, fabrication, erection, and maintenance of steel structures.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, install, and integrate mechanical components of steel fabrication equipment (e.g., CNC cutters, rollers, and conveyors), ensuring proper functionality and alignment for efficient operation.Test and calibrate machinery to ensure precision in cutting, bending, and welding processes, adhering to tolerances specified in engineering drawings.Support engineers in optimizing the fabrication processes of steel structures, such as cutting, welding, and assembly.Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems (e.g., drive mechanisms, alignment fixtures, pneumatic/hydraulic controls) involved in the steel manufacturing process to optimize performance and minimize downtime.Operate and troubleshoot CNC machines (plasma cutters, drilling machines), welding robots, and press brakes, diagnosing and resolving issues to ensure uninterrupted production.Inspect steel components (e.g., dimensions, weld quality) to ensure compliance with technical standards, quality specifications, and safety regulations.Identify and implement process improvements in steel fabrication techniques, aiming to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high product quality standards.Maintain accurate records of machinery performance, maintenance schedules, and project progress.Collect and analyse data, conduct complex computations, and prepare technical diagrams and reports to support continuous process improvement and compliance with engineering standards.Work closely with engineers, operators, and other technicians toensure seamless integration and smooth operation of steel fabrication.Required Skills and Experience3+ years in mechanical assembly and equipment maintenance.Strong understanding of mechanical systems.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults using technical manuals and diagnostic tools.Familiar with sensors, servo drives, and PLC integration.Proficient in calipers, micrometer etc.Understanding of non-standard automation equipment.Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.Collaborate with engineers/production teams effectively,Knowledge of mechanical safety procedures and maintenance best practices.Nice to HaveStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse technical data.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Bilingual (Mandarin/English) is a plus.Why Work With UsCompetitive salary based on experience.Work with an innovative team in a dynamic and fast-growing company.Be a part of industry-leading technology in steel structure manufacturing.Competitive salary and growth opportunities.
