Student Support Services (SSS) Branch, Barwon Area, South Western Victoria Region, SRS.

We are seeking a highly skilled psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary health, wellbeing, and inclusion team.
About the Role
This role is for a SSS psychologist. Working in SSS is deeply meaningful and rewarding, allowing you to make a positive contribution to the life of children and young people, their families, and communities.
As a SSS psychologist, you will work collaboratively with a diverse group of professionals to provide assessment, consultation, support, and program advice to improve teaching, learning, and wellbeing strategies for students requiring support.
Key Components of the Role Include:
* Highly Developed Communication Skills: Report-writing, networking, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to Work Autonomously: Taking initiative and working independently
Our ideal candidate is passionate about child and adolescent development, trauma-informed practices, and consulting with educational staff around behavioural and environmental adjustments to support learning engagement.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
A graduate or post-graduate qualification in psychology or equivalent.
Essential Requirements
Full registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA).
