APRA AMCOS is a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology.
We have more than 124,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers.
We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members' music, and we distribute the royalties to our members.
We are looking for a collaborative, proactive and details-oriented person to join the Data Operations team in the role of MRT Reporting Administrator.
This role is the main point of contact for reporting from Music Recognition Technology (MRT) data suppliers, who supply cue sheet and/or transmission reports relating to the broadcast of music used in advertisements across Australia and New Zealand.
The role requires developing and maintaining a positive working relationship within the MRT supply chain, ensuring the highest quality data is received on time and to the required specification.
A basic understanding of the media landscape in Australia and New Zealand is helpful and successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an inquisitive approach to tasks with a strong attention to detail.
This is a fulltime, permanent position based in the APRA AMCOS Sydney office in Ultimo.
In this role you will:Support the relationship with MRT data suppliersReceive and ingest cue sheet and transmission data related to music used in commercialsManage works and cue sheets related processes for Australian and New Zealand TV and radio stations, ensuring data integrity and accuracyPrepare data for APRA AMCOS royalty distributionsProactively provide reporting to management on progress throughout the quarterTo be successful in this role you will:Be able to maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholdersHave strong attention to detailHave Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillsHave excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with an understanding of broader processes and the role of contextBe data driven, with an interest and aptitude for working with big data setsBe a proactive and supportive team player who can work well unsupervisedHave the capacity to multitask, prioritise well and adapt to changing needsWhat You'll Love:Our friendly and collaborative work environment.
