Job Details Position Summary:Under the supervision and reporting to the Clinical Operations Team leader, takes part in the operations ensuring the quality and integrity of all the processes related to stored material: reception, storage, shipment, return and/or destruction, according to SOPs or any other required standard. This position is responsible for signing off processes and releasing shipment for distribution.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Verifies and signs operational jobsReleases shipments for distribution under supervision of depot pharmacist or Clinical Team LeaderManages the change of product status both physically and systematically following client instructions and within the scope of applicable Internal GuidelinesFollow and lead packaging instruction form for secondary packaging relabeling tasks ensuring GMP and GDPHave deep knowledge of all the protocols stored at WC Depot to provide instructions to all the Depot StaffAct as Deputy Depot Pharmacist whenever required, supporting depot operational activities, as applicable, based on the local legislationEnsure compliance with all government legislative and local health requirementsMaintain and assure compliance with applicable ICH, GMP, GCP, GDP, local regulatory requirements, legal requirements, and World Courier Internal Guidelines (or any other so required)Comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures, which contain all specific instructions to develop the Depot daily activities, from the moment of reception of the products until the shipment/ delivery of the products to the sitesPerform periodic Depot Self-Inspections as required, to assure everything at the Facility is working as established in WC SOPsIdentify and report possible problems arising from personnel management that may be against working scheduleManages the status of product to ensure expired stock is moved to Quarantine statusRequired to be part of an on-call roster 24/7 to provide telephone assistance as well as in person attendance for emergency response in case of any concern occurring at the facility in relation to temperature control of the productParticipate in reviewing and authoring global and local SOPs, WI's and TRN documentsWork in all temperature-controlled environments including but not limited to: to C+2 to +8 C-20 to -30 CPhysically perform packing process of inbound, outbound and returned shipments using Cencora World Courier packaging productsParticipate in occasional scheduled weekend tasks for stock control and balance sheet processesLead continuous Improvement initiatives to ensure processes are streamlinedFully trained in the Clinical ERPWillingness to be trained how to use EWP equipmentPerform any other duties the employee has been trained forInternal Communication and Information Sharing:Keep Internal Stakeholders informed of the progress of their order and shipmentCollaborate with Internal Stakeholders to find appropriate resolutions to Clinical and Commercial matters to ensure ongoing client satisfactionLiaise with the Transport Customer Service team in relation to World Courier transport bookings and ensure correct processes are followedProvide information to all WCA business units to ensure work output is coordinated in an effective mannerContribute to team and organisational wide discussions by sharing ideas, experiences and recommendations around improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the businessTeamwork and Collaboration:Effectively collaborate with all Internal Stakeholders to ensure the function is operating effectively and efficiently, while maintaining a harmonious team environment.Policy and Procedure:Comply with standard operating procedures and policies to ensure that the function is demonstrating consistent practices nationally and is in line with strategic objectives.Ensure WCA compliance with all government legislative and other requirements such as ACS, CASA, AQIS, IATA, ISOEnsure full compliance with international local regulations such as WCA RACA SP (Registered Air Cargo Security Program) Australian Customs IATA regulationsEnsure full compliance with WCA quality management systems (GxP)Workplace Health and Safety:Actively promote a culture that values a safe and healthy workplaceTake reasonable care of and cooperate with actions taken to protect the health and safety of both them and others. Report all accidents, incidents and hazards to their supervisor as soon as is practicableEnsure compliance with relevant OH&S legislation and that any issues are identified and actioned in line with WCA policyReports Directly To:Clinical Operations Team LeaderExperience and Educational Requirements:Tertiary qualification e.g diploma or equivalent and/or required training in pharmaceutical service is required for this position, whenever local regulation is allowing this associate to perform the mentioned activities ORExternal Applicants: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics role within the pharmaceutical sectorInternal Applicants: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a logistics operator at World Courier depotPreferable for candidate to have some work experience in warehousingMinimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:Position will require being able to lift loads up to 20kg independently using safe lifting methods described in manual handling trainingBe able to take initiative and solve problemsSelf-driven and can work autonomouslyExcellent computer skillsAn understanding of Imports and Exports processes and statutory requirementsSound experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and OutlookStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSound level of numeracy and demonstrated attention to detailSound written and verbal communication skills with a full command of EnglishProblem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demandsA calm and customer-focused approach What Cencora offers: Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
