Including Tray Bodies, Fibreglass and Alloy canopies, 4x4 Suspension, Towbars, Roof racks, Bull Bars and other 4WD accessories.We are currently seeking an organised individual to join our team as a Stock controller & Sales assistant. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist with customer quotes in the morning and manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock flow and timely replenishment in the afternoon. The ideal candidate will possess analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Position: Full-time, Monday-FridayAddress: 5 Central drive, Burleigh Heads Responsibilities on the Stocktake side:Maintain accurate records of inventory levels through regular stock counts.Monitor stock movement, including incoming deliveries and outgoing jobs.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock and manage reorder pointsIdentify and investigate discrepancies in stock levels and implement corrective actionsUtilize inventory management software to track stock movements and generate reports.Collaborate with the purchasing team to forecast demand and optimize stock levelsMaintain efficient stock storage and organisation systemsCommunicate effectively with various departments to ensure smooth stock flow and minimize stock outsResponsibilities on the Sales Assistant side:Greet customers, assist with customer inquiries and provide information about products and servicesProcess transactions, handle cash or card payments, and manage sales documentationHandle correspondence related to customer orders or queriesStay informed about products, services, promotions and sales goals RequirementsForklift licence, Drivers licenceExperience in a similar role, preferable retail or warehouse environmentStrong analytical and problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Computer knowledge needed for use using inventory management software.Ability to work independently or as part of a teamPhysical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and moving stock as needed
