About the Role As a Public Relations Advisor in our Communications business unit, you’ll play a key role in helping to plan, research and create well-structured PR opportunities that can be used across traditional and social media as well as through ANZ’s owned channels. As a Public Relations Advisor, you will identify and deliver PR opportunities to support ANZ’s strategic agenda and business-as-usual activity. What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Excellent writing and editing skills and experience with the fundamentals across mediums, superior attention to detail. Strong news sense and experience working with media. Is confident writing for all formats including for traditional media purposes. Takes steps to build rapport with people within immediate team as well as across the Communications and Public Affairs function and among stakeholders. Motivates self to innovate, prioritise workload and works to deliver outcomes within timeframes and to high standards. Experience in managing external suppliers and works directly with customers to deliver PR initiatives under guidance of PR Manager. You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
