About the Role
VenuesWest are seeking multiple Venue Officers to work across three of our venues - Champion Lakes Regatta Centre, WA Athletics Stadium & SpeedDome in a casual capacity. Venues Officer’s assist with the set up and pull down of events as well as maintaining presentation of operational areas for venue bookings, events and functions across the three locations. Events can include athletics carnivals, rowing/kayaking/dragon boat regattas, track cycling, car shows, and charity events.
Duties include ensuring the facilities are clean, tidy and maintained in a safe condition, maintenance of equipment and storerooms, open & close the venue for training and weekend bookings as well as attending to client and patron requests.
This is a casual opportunity based at Champion Lakes Regatta Centre, WA Athletics Stadium in Mount Claremont & Midvale SpeedDome. The nature of this role requires mobility directly to and between multiple VenuesWest locations.
The role is casual in nature offering a variety of shifts from Monday through to Sunday. The position of Venue Officer is a physical, hands-on role requiring work on weekends and outside normal business hours and as such evening and weekend availability is essential.

About the Person
Successful candidates will possess sound communication and problem-solving skills as well as an excellent work ethic with the ability to work autonomously when required. Candidates with an interest in sports and/or events are highly desirable as well as previous customer service experience.
As part of this role is located at Champion Lakes Regatta Centre, you will need to be able to swim and hold a current first aid and CPR certificate.
