This position is suitable for an experienced Occupational Therapist. Duties: Providing comprehensive assessment for clients with broad ranges of conditions. Evidence based therapy intervention either individually or in a group setting. Working closely with families and carers to develop therapy programs specific to individuals. Working collaboratively with other allied health professionals. Personal Skills Required: High level communication skills. Good health and physically fit. Reliable and organised. Sound problem-solving skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Genuine interest in people and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds. Essential Criteria: Bachelor/Master of Occupational Therapy. Minimum 2-5 years’ Occupational Therapy experience. Key Requirements: Current AHPRA registration or ability to obtain. A current driver's licence is essential or ability to obtain. A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain. Complete COVID-19 Vaccination Status (as per IWC Policy) A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD) or ability to obtain. A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain. No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work.
