About the opportunity
A great opportunity sitting as part of the supply chain team and reporting to the Head of Supply Chain who is based in Sydney. You will be managing a Customer Service Manager, Inventory Manager, and Warehouse and Logistics Manager in this role. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. There is an opportunity to improve current work processes and as this company is growing, there will be many great projects to get involved in.
Duties
1. Manage 3-4 direct reports and around 20 indirect reports across Customer Service, Inventory, and Warehouse
2. Relationship building both internally and with clients, with an opportunity to be client-facing meeting with senior hospital stakeholders
3. Perform analytics and reporting for supply chain
4. Strategic planning for inventory and consignment stock
5. Engage with and manage distributors
6. Participate in operational and strategic planning
Skills and Experience
1. Experience in a supply chain/operations environment
2. Ideally experience within the pharmaceutical, medical, or FMCG industries
3. Experience in managing leaders across Customer Service, Inventory, and Warehouse
4. Ideally experience in managing consignment stock
5. Excellent stakeholder engagement experience
6. Strong experience in project management and continuous improvement
7. Analytical skills
8. Experience in budget development
