About the role Mater Hospital Brisbane has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Administration Officer to join the team at South Brisbane on a permanent part time basis, 30 hours per week. The Senior Administration Officer plays a key role in the delivery of exceptional service to Mater patients, relatives and staff. The core function of the role is to support the daily administrative operational requirements of the respiratory and sleep studies department including the Director and wider team. Salary range: $38.81 - $43.16 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 access to many staff benefits What you’ll be doing Ensure accurate data entry using appropriate electronic systems. Exercise judgement and initiative within define procedures, precedents, guidelines and instructions. Maintain a safe working environment complying with Workplace Health and Safety and anti-discrimination policies. Support and assist other team members within the business as required. Comply with and adhere to Mater Health Services and the private practice policies, procedures, standards and legislation relevant to the role and business unit. Diary management Assist with meetings / huddles Maintain and support areas specific spreadsheets / databases / calendar Assist with preparation of correspondence and distribution Updating databases / systems for departmental use HR/Recruitment Assistance About you High level of customer service, verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to provide efficient and effective administration support in a timely and organised manner Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, patients and visitors Accurate data entry skills with a high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and departmental data bases and other software applications Qualifications, continuing education programs and experience may be used to demonstrate skill, knowledge and/or ability relevant to the position.
