Smithtown is the home of MILO, Australia's iconic crunchy milk drink, and more recently Nescafe single serve Café Menu range.Project Engineers lead and manage the entire project life cycle of capital investment project from concept to execution within the operating factory environment. They ensure cross-functional teams deliver objectives aligned to the various project charters.A day in the life… Reporting to Chief Engineer, key responsibilities could include:Preliminary analysis for projects including building, utilities, services, equipment, and layout.Managing implementation including ensuring the safety of the plant, products and personnel.Supervising installation of equipment and be responsible for the budget and scope.Updating/creating site technical drawings and documentation.Executing the basic and detailed design of the project based on Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, Nestlé standards, local regulations, the defined User Requirements Specifications.Ensuring safety by design during both construction and the ongoing operation of the plant.Lead and coordinate the contribution of all the stakeholders, to implement the project in accordance with the defined timing, cost and quality.Coordinating efforts with the start-up manager and her/his team, to assure a smooth transition to operations, after the qualification and the verification of the installation have been finalised.Selecting, qualifying and coordination of contractors' activities.What will make you successful Joining a collaborative team of specialists, you will be a strong communicator with a drive to deliver quality outcomes against the project charter with efficiency and with a passion for continuous process improvement.Completion of tertiary study in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 3 years' experience in the engineering field.Project Management skills, including developed analytical and budgetary skills.Experience working in food manufacturing environment – preferred.Leaders will require a proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams, experience in managing and leading teams.Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality.Self-management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them.Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, including but not limited to health checks, prior to appointment to this role.Applicants must have full Australian working rights You will have the chance to work with an outstanding and highly engaged team, build and grow your career with an inclusive, global FMCG leader.In addition, we offer:Varied career experiences and personalised development support.Wellbeing benefits including vaccinations and health insurance discounts.Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and program.Paid parental and partner leave.Purchase Leave Scheme.Volunteering leave, Sports leave, Emergency Services leave.#J-18808-Ljbffr
