The family will also welcome a new baby in March. Initially, there won’t be much care needed for the newborn but the focus will be on the older two children on Tuesday and then helping out around the home on Wednesday. Over time, the role will evolve as more care will be needed for the younger baby.The normal days are: 2 days per weekDays & hours are:Tuesday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pmWednesday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pmThere is also the opportunity to join the family on holidays in the future (paid of course).An ideal nanny would be warm, caring and responsive. A nanny that is also friendly, happy, energetic and is interested in actively engaging in indoor and outdoor activities with the children which will aid in their growth and development.The family is looking for someone who is organised, who can take initiative when it comes to duties around the home, is trustworthy, responsible and reliable and is able to care for the children and household throughout the day.Prior extensive experience/professional qualifications working with young babies/children is highly advantageous for this role.The family are seeking a nanny who will build a lovely warm relationship with the whole family and stay on a long-term basis.The carers responsibilities for this role will be as follows:To care for the childrenFollow the children’s routinePlay and engage in age-appropriate activities to assist in the children’s developmentTake the children to activities, walks to the park/playgroundLight household chores – Initially, while the baby is still young, Wednesday will be primarily a day to do house duties (Older children will be at daycare). Duties will include washing (ironing, folding, putting away), cooking, putting away shopping, organising (wardrobes, cupboards, playroom), tidying, and running errands.Prepare/cook basic family meals and children’s snacksThe family’s expectations from their nanny are:5+ years of experience as a nanny or working in childcareChildcare qualifications preferredYoung baby experienceHave a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)Have a current Working With Children’s CheckDisplay strong communication skills and speaks EnglishNon-smokingFull driver’s license and clean driving record (Own car – kms and petrol to be reimbursed)Comfortable with cats and dogs (dog walking may be required)
