The Facility:
The hospital has recently enjoyed a major $408 Million overhaul and expansion doubling the number of beds to over 300 and increasing the size by 40,000m2 including a new Emergency Department. This is now a state of the art fully modern hospital and one of Australia’s largest regional healthcare facilities.
The hospital is also accredited for training with a number of the colleges and provides the following specialist services to the local community: ED, O&G, Paeds, Orthopaedics, Anaesthetics, ICU, Coronary care, Psychiatry, Aged Care, Renal Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Palliative Care and Day Surgery.
The Role:
The Urology Department has a high workload and performs over 600 operations and 500 outpatient procedures every year. The successful applicant will be required to be accredited for both robotic assisted surgeries and potentially renal transplant if so interested.
