We are currently offering a great opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our team in Renmark, SA
About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will work as part of a team with a primary focus on selling, installing, repairing, and maintaining a range of irrigation equipment, including probes, sensors, radios, modems and other associated irrigation equipment. Tasks are varied and include:
4. Promoting and selling a variety of soil moisture monitoring systems and equipment.
5. Diagnosing and assisting with the repairs, installation and commissioning of various monitoring & irrigation systems.
6. Providing quoting and estimations.
7. Performing stocktakes, whilst procuring parts to ensure standards and product availability are met.
8. Completing relevant administration & paperwork duties related to the job including invoicing, job sheets and record management of costs.
9. Maintaining the workshop & other associated working areas to a clean and safe standard.
10. Maintaining vehicles, tools, and equipment.
11. Behave in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers, suppliers, contractors, and other staff.
12. Following Nutrien Safety protocols.
About You:
You are a driven, determined individual with a passion for providing the highest level of customer service and a strong focus on safety. You love solving problems and have excellent planning and organisation skills. In addition you will have:
13. Mechanical / electronic interest and aptitude.
14. Experience within the agricultural / irrigation industry.
15. The ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
16. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to present yourself in a professional manner.
17. Computer literacy with the willingness to learn new software’s & systems.
18. A current and valid driver’s licence.
19. Willingness/Desire to work outdoors.
20. ‘Can do attitude” with the readiness to learn.
21. Previous irrigation system operation or experience (desirable)
Please note there will be occasional travel required with overnight stays with SA
