Establishing Standard Measuring Templates: Assist the Estimating Team to develop and refine existing standardized templates within CostX for efficient and accurate measurement.Collaborate with team members to refine and validate these templates, ensuring they meet the team's needs.Detailed Quantity Takeoff and Application of Rates: Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for building works in CostX in accordance with the templates and standard operating procedures provided, ensuring all measurements are accurate and align with project specifications.Use the software's advanced measurement tools to capture precise dimensions from digital drawings and models.Ensure accurate application of the rates provided in the measurement templates to the completed takeoff/measure.Identify and report instances where the provided templates do not, or may not, align with the project scope.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate document control to ensure clarity of information used for basis of takeoff/measure.Generate clear clarification registers to communicate assumptions made during takeoff/measure.Ensure all measurement data is accurately documented and easily accessible for review and audit purposes.Quality Control and Accuracy: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all measurements taken in CostX.Regularly review and cross-check measurements against project drawings and specifications to identify and correct any discrepancies.Provide feedback to the project team on measurement accuracy and any identified issues or improvements needed.Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of CostX for measurement.Share best practices and tips for efficient measurement processes, helping to improve overall team proficiency with the software.Act as a point of contact for measurement-related queries and provide ongoing support to ensure team members are confident in using CostX.Experience and Qualifications: High level of understanding and skills with CostX and other measurement software programs.Understanding and experience in cost control systems.Great level of accuracy and attention to detail.Understanding standard method of measurement and quantity surveying practices and processes.Effective communication and relationship building skills.High level of English language speaking and comprehension.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Ability to work remotely and take direction via teams and other similar programs.Strong organizational skills.ShoreXtra Perks: Free barista-style coffeeFree parking and jeepney servicesHighly engaged teamUnlimited potential for growthChallenging roleFun and family-oriented working environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
