Key Responsibilities: Participating in the efforts of planning to establish the most time and cost-effective methods of execution and convert that to a working programme model. Development of overall baseline programme in accordance with contract. This should include Baseline programme capable of acceptance, Major Milestone Indicator (MMI), Network precedence with critical path, Level 2 roll up schedules, Level 3 working control schedules for procurement, fabrication and construction and level 4 detail schedules for construction as well as Basis of Schedule (BOS) Monitoring actual job progress, compared to baseline and report progress against schedule. Forecasting the impacts on schedule of proposed changes and critical path management/analysis as well as mitigation strategies. Developing working control schedules (Level 3 & 4) for day-to-day activities for area / units under control. (These should be agreed with key team members) Attending management, project team and customer meetings as requested. Development of project control dashboard including schedules, S-Curves, tables, milestones, productivity factor and earned value analysis. Interacting with discipline leads to obtain programme updates. Prepare the Extension of Time (EoT) schedule along with BoS and log history data. Managing the impact of approved and unapproved variations through the schedule (inclusive of re-measure) and liaise with management team as well as commercial team. Develop, manage and track the QMR against the contract, updated remeasure, approved and unapproved variations. Interrogating progress reports and preparing action plans on deviations to targets with recommended remedial actions. Organizing production and evaluation of alternative action plans to correct deviations from plan. Performing general planning and scheduling tasks as the Lead Planner may direct. Contributing to monthly reporting on projects both internally and externally. Assisting the Project Team in the production of project monthly reports. Assisting management, project managers and colleagues to understand and accept scheduling concepts, theory, and alternative approaches in scheduling project activities. Analyzing construction data and perform resourcing calculations to determine material, tools, and personnel requirements for the schedule. Contributing to the refinement of project planning procedures within the overall company standards. Provide support to planners and schedulers. Work closely with estimating and tendering team to assist in developing a schedule as directed by the line manager. ABOUT YOU 10-12 year experience in planning with minimum 4 years as a senior planner Skills in the use of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Projects software is a must Autonomous and adaptable to dynamic working environments. Willingness to travel on an ad hoc basis and be eligible to access client sites. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. INTERESTED?
