$38 – $41.50 per hour + Salary Packaging
New ROADS is a supportive team of professionals providing holistic and innovative alcohol and other drug (AOD) services.
We provide 1:1 counselling, group work, case management, and residential rehabilitation across our service. We are seeking motivated individuals who are keen to join the team and provide the highest standard of client support in our Mt Gambier rehabilitation services.
Multiple part-time roles available with shifts available over a 24 hour period, over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays with active and passive overnight shifts.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
* Transporting clients for activities
* General client support, living skills, house hygiene, and tenancy maintenance support
* Case management
* Admission of new clients & intake assessments
* Completing drug screenings
* Facilitating therapeutic groups (Smart Recovery & relapse prevention)
The New ROADS Case Worker role incorporates a diverse mix of responsibilities including:
* Office and outreach based, therapeutic and practical AOD services for our residential client group
* Supporting people who are accessing our AOD residential program to make long-term, healthy changes in their lives
* Developing partnerships with the community to create better outcomes for clients and drive referrals into the service
* Breaking down stigma associated with AOD use and related issues
About You
Applicants who have completed or are working towards a Certificate IV in AOD, Mental Health or Community Services are encouraged to apply, as are applicants who have obtained or are working towards completion of a qualification in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or other related field.
You will have demonstrated professional experience in providing intensive support and case work with clients. You will have experience working with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will have a strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of clients, community groups, and agencies.
