Operations Assistant

The role: This role provides vital support to the Operations Manager and SEIT staff, ensuring operational efficiency for the depot. The Operations Assistant is responsible for executing various day-to-day operational duties and tasks for the SEIT business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide general operational and administrative support, including data entry, filing, system updates, and managing phone and email communications.
2. Assist in preparing daily tour manifests and setting up tours, including maintaining tour supplies.
3. Oversee the management of the staff roster.
4. Monitor and manage stock levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and prepare stock orders.
5. Assist with payroll tasks, including timesheets, leave support, and internal payroll inquiries.
6. Perform cleaning duties at the depot to ensure the workshop is kept clean and tidy.
7. Provide staff support, including issuing uniforms, induction, accommodation, and depot policies and procedures.
Experience/Qualifications:
8. Previous experience in Travel/Tourism, Operations, Logistics, or Hospitality would be advantageous.
9. Sound knowledge of office procedures, workflow, and data entry tasks.
10. Previous experience in an administrative role.
11. Current full drivers license.
12. NT H-Endorsement is desirable but must be willingly to obtain one.
13. Essential proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically).
