Our valued client SMW Group is a proud Central Queensland provider of field servicing, maintenance and emergency repair / rebuild services with over 10 years' experience servicing the Central Queensland region.They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their highly skilled and qualified mechanical maintenance team in servicing and maintaining fleet and heavy equipment.Duties include but will not be limited to:Perform precision fitting, assembly, and installation of mechanical components and machineryRead and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsConduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure machinery operates smoothlyDiagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently to minimise downtimeCollaborate with project manager, engineers, and other team members to meet project goalsConduct quality checks on completed works to ensure specified requirements are metEnsure maintenance and repairs are carried out using proper safety guidelines to ensure job rework do not occurMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repair worksAdhere to all safety standards and procedure to ensure a safe working environmentTo be considered for this role you must have:Trade qualificationAdvanced knowledge of diesel engine componentsGood IT and diagnostic skillsPhysically fitProficiency with maintenance and repair toolsGood interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal communication skillsGood organisation skillsAbility to work well both independently and in a team environmentA minimum of two years post trade experience, preferably with earth moving machinery experience.If you feel this is the job for you and would like to be considered for this role, please apply nowSalary: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + SuperJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
