About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Key Account Manager to manage and develop ARB Corporation's key customer accounts, including but not limited to motor vehicle dealers, fleet management organisations, government departments, and both direct and indirect fleet customers. This pivotal role will ensure the efficient running of these accounts, help meet business targets, and maintain the high levels of customer satisfaction that ARB is known for.
As part of the state leadership team, you will report directly to the State Manager and collaborate closely with the Corporate Retail Branch Managers, Retail Operations Manager, National Fleet team, and Hub Team Leader. Your primary focus will be to exceed revenue targets, expand ARB's distribution network, and foster strong relationships within ARB's Corporate Store territories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent ARB to both direct and indirect customers, focusing on fleet and motor vehicle dealer (MVD) business growth aligned with annual KPIs.
- Provide prompt responses to fleet quotes, ensuring accurate quotes for accessories and parts.
- Develop and implement tailored Account Management strategies for each customer, in line with ARB's corporate objectives.
- Design and deliver an effective training program to increase customers' knowledge and skills of ARB products and services.
- Proactively build and maintain productive relationships both internally with teams and externally with customers, suppliers, and service providers.
Required Skills, Behaviours, and Experience:
- Proven ability to deliver positive, sustainable outcomes.
- Experience in contributing to successful outcomes in cross-functional team environments.
- Collaborative team player, recognising that organisational success relies on effective teamwork.
- A focus on accountability, ensuring that individual and team objectives are consistently met.
- Previous experience in fleet sales within the automotive industry or dealer groups.
- A solid understanding of 4WD accessories and a passion for the 4X4 industry is highly desirable.
