$93,066 - $98,730 (G06) + 17% superannuation Full-time, Permanent Position Located on-site at our Curtin Bentley Campus, Perth WA Job Reference: 824279 We are seeking a proactive and organised Emergency Planning Coordinator to join our Properties, Facilities and Development (PF&D) – Safer Community Team.
In this critical role, you will provide professional advice and coordination for emergency planning and preparedness across the Curtin community.

About the Role As the Emergency Planning Coordinator, you will: Coordinate, develop, and promote emergency management programs through training and awareness campaigns.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including emergency services personnel, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Assist in developing and reviewing emergency response procedures and training needs.
Conduct building evacuation drills and manage emergency response activities.
Act as a Forward Liaison Officer during large-scale emergencies, facilitating communication between Curtin and emergency services.
Key Criteria We are looking for a candidate with: Demonstrated experience in emergency response and training development, ideally within a large, multi-disciplined organisation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Organisational skills to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT tools.
A solid understanding of emergency management systems and arrangements in Western Australia.
Work Requirements Flexibility to work outside standard office hours when required.
A level of fitness appropriate for the demands of the role.
Availability for occasional interstate or overseas travel.
