About the position This role reports directly to the Group Manager Recreation and Place and is accountable for leading the library services, arts, events (community and civic), heritage, culture and place activation. The position ensures the successful delivery of operational outcomes aligned with the City’s strategic objectives, while creating experiences that enhance the community's liveability and satisfaction with the City of Cockburn. About you A community focused leader, passionate about driving library, arts and cultural innovation, committed to improving the experience for both customers and staff. Demonstrated experience in the delivery of library, arts and culture programs, large-scale events, with a strong ability to balance resource allocation and customer expectations. As a role model, you will have the ability to coach and manage team performance while fostering creativity, continuous improvement and a strong team culture that supports the organisation’s strategic goals and vision. Salary and Benefits A competitive remuneration package commencing at $179,000 per annum will be offered dependent on skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications.
