ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our dedicated teams of Cleaners play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleaning in clinical, non-clinical and administration areas of Armadale Health Service and at Kalamunda Hospital in accordance with hospital standards and procedures.
Qualification and Experience
* Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning practices, techniques and equipment, including knowledge of hygiene standards and universal precautions.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
* Current knowledge and awareness of chemicals and chemical handling procedures.
* Demonstrated knowledge of manual handling principles and techniques and ability to perform manual handling activities.
* Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
Armadale Kalamunda Group (AKG) is made up of Armadale Health Service (AHS) providing a range of healthcare, including emergency, maternity, intensive care and community and hospital-based mental health. Kalamunda Hospital (KH) a small hospital that provides endoscopy services and specialist palliative care, in beautiful bush surroundings is also part of AKG.
AKG requires permanent, fixed-term, full-time, part-time and casual cleaners who will be expected to work at both AHS and KH.

This recruitment pool will be open until 30 April 2025, and the following should be noted:
* The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications throughout this timeframe and will assess on a regular basis.
* Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool and appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur within any EMHS facility until 30 April 2025.
