Take the next step.Be part of something bigger at Suncorp.Senior Advisor – Employee Communications Permanent RoleSydney or Brisbane locationAbout the role: Suncorp's Corporate Communications team manage Suncorp's enterprise-wide employee communications strategy, communication channels and programs.Reporting to the Manager, Employee Communications, Senior Advisors develop and implement targeted communications programs and campaigns aligned to Suncorp's purpose, strategy and business objectives.More specifically, you will: Support the delivery of large strategic customer-wide campaigns, projects and initiatives working closely with the Manager, Employee Communications.This role plays a key role in supporting the Manager, Employee Communications in providing strategic business partnering to Customer Executive Leaders.Develop and execute engaging communication strategies with a focus on Suncorp's customer portfolio strategies and initiatives.Proactively identify inward and outward employee communication opportunities to drive corporate goals and strategy transformation objectives, as well as addressing potential challenges.Work with the Employee Manager and in conjunction with Executive Team offices to embed an annual integrated communications plan and strategy.Work collaboratively with the Content, Channels, Events, Social and External Media Relations teams to ensure an integrated communications approach.Be proactive in identifying issues, problems and opportunities and formulating responses.Stay abreast of communication best practices and leverage internal feedback mechanisms to evolve channels and strategy.Support Communications Managers in crisis and incident communications.Develop deep internal and external relationships to drive original, quality communications content.Work with the broader team on targeted approaches for building awareness and employee engagement with Suncorp's community and advocacy work.Support in the development of some Executive team communications (emails, video content, presentations, speeches, blogs and social media) in conjunction with the Senior Advisor, Leadership Communications.Support the Employee Communications Manager in the delivery of Executive Team Town Halls.Partner with channels and content teams on communication vehicles and amplifying campaigns.Liaise closely with the broader CAIR team to ensure collaboration and consistent communications.Use persuasive influence when advising key stakeholders.About You: Degree in communications/journalism/public relations/media studies or business-related discipline (mandatory).10 years+ communications experience with extensive knowledge and understanding of communications principles, best practice and emerging trends and technologies.Key Capabilities: High level of oral and written communication skills with particular focus on writing and/or editing complex information for diverse audiences.Communications & media experience within a large corporate environment.Effective leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.Demonstrated aptitude for best practice and innovation.What we can offer you: Discounts and offers on a range of insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks secondary carer parental leave, and unlimited paid emergency response leave.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave.Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.Advertised: 04 Nov 2024 AUS Eastern Daylight TimeApplications close: 11 Nov 2024 AUS Eastern Daylight Time #J-18808-Ljbffr
