Purpose: The Recovery Claims Specialist will play a key role within our Claims Division in leading a relevant Recovery Support stream including provision of technical advice to Agents on entitlements and return to work.
This role will be critical to achieving recovery and return to work outcomes in collaboration with relevant teams at WorkSafe and with senior members of Agents.
Primary focus will be on recovery and return to work on a relevant cohort of claims with a view of improving recovery, return to work and capacity outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Own and lead the implementation and ongoing delivery of one or more Recovery Support program(s) including responsibility for Agent and/or stakeholder engagement and feedback.Identifying opportunities for improved Agent performance and leading the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.Develop and maintain effective partnership arrangements with Agents in order to contribute to improved Claims Entitlements and RTW outcomes.Develop policy frameworks and recommend strategic directions for area of responsibility.Manage and conduct file reviews / health checks / audits and provide formal technical reports and feedback.Utilising subject matter expertise and knowledge to provide authoritative expert advice to relevant RTWV Business Unit and Divisional Governance committees.About You: You will have significant stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with the ability to translate those engagements into the delivery of outcomes.
One of your key strengths will be your ability to be flexible in supporting other team members and projects within the branch and division, dependent on business priorities.
