About the Role As the Burnie Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading six direct reports, along with a team of 150+ highly experienced and dedicated individuals, delivering superior services to our customers across our three Tasmanian branches.
You will lead, inspire and coach your branch management team to achieve operational success and exceptional customer satisfaction, while developing our people.
This integral role reports directly to our General Manager - Operations and is based in Burnie (Somerset).
There will be regular travel between the three Tasmanian branches, as well as some travel to Victoria.
Your Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the Tasmanian teams, fostering a culture of success and high performance across all areas Ensuring customer service excellence standards are continually met Achieve Company profitability targets through a balance on revenue generation and expense management Maintain and foster a cohesive working relationship between the operations team and the wider business Ensure that business is conducted in accordance with our Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures Manage the Burnie facility, and oversee the management of the Hobart and Launceston facilities About You You are an experienced leader in Operations within the heavy machinery industry who excels in fast-paced environments, overcoming challenges to deliver exceptional results.
Along with your strong problem-solving, conflict management, and commercial skills, you have a deep understanding of what it takes to achieve sustainable growth.
