Available Position :
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a special interest in mechanics and ideally previous experience in machine workshops or machinery operations. Working alongside our Perth Workshop team, the Trade Assistant role assists the efficient operations of our workshop so that we can deliver timely service and repairs of GSE equipment to our customers.

Position Requirements:
High school certificate or equivalent education certificate; one to three months related experience and or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
8. Previous mechanical experience is highly desirable
9. Welding experience is needed
10. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and develop.
11. Hold a current national Manual “C” class driver’s license; and
12. Hold a current “MR” class driver’s license (desirable)
13. Forklift certificate (desirable)
14. Must be keen and enthusiastic
15. Willing to undergo a full medical examination
16. Willing to undertake ASIC background checks for a security pass
Position Description:
17. Assisting qualified mechanics to perform minor repairs and service of vehicles and equipment in a timely manner
18. Perform basic welding tasks as needed, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
19. Pickup and delivery of spare parts
20. Packaging and sending of freight
21. Receiving and stocking new parts
22. General yard/workshop cleaning and maintenance
23. Workshop and equipment cleaning
24. Store duties as and when required
25. Performing other general, non-trades services as directed
