About the role
To assist the Streetscape Operations section to deliver day-labour services for the cleansing and improvement of Council’s streetscape areas such that the works and services of Council contribute to the desired community outcomes as outlined in the Community Strategic Plan.
Working as part of the Parks and Streetscapes service unit and reporting to the Coordinator Streetscapes you will undertake work and activities to help ensure that the team consistently meet its targets and commitments against your individual and team performance plans and Council’s Operational and Strategic Plans.
Please note this role is subject to police checks and drug and alcohol check.
You will be community focused and work collaboratively with the Parks and Streetscape Operations Manager and the Coordinator Streetscapes to ensure the success of the service unit.

Remuneration
$60,465.60 - $66,677.00 + 11% Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
1. Industry experience in streetscape operations.
2. Ability to work without close supervision.
3. Good interpersonal communication skills.
4. Demonstrated experience with field devices (eg.tablets) for managing daily team work plans.
5. Demonstrated ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing, including the ability to comprehend maps, street signage & work schedules and complete daily report forms.
6. Understanding and commitment to equal employment opportunities, diversity, work health and safety, ethical practice and acting with probity at all times.
7. MR Driver’s Licence (for truck operating positions only).
8. NSW Class C Driver’s Licence
9. Suitable level of fitness to perform the inherent duties of the position.
