They also own a successful installation & maintenance services business, operating in Australia and worldwide. This business is where 80% of the new business opportunities are being produced, for this newly created start-up. The time has come to appoint a Head of Sales to lead their sales efforts and drive the business from its early stages to full-scale operations. This role is crucial for positioning this business as a leader in their industry and capitalising on the significant opportunities they see ahead. Currently, there is very little market competition. About You: You are a Head of Sales with a proven history of achieving sales targets. You possess a high-energy, high-performance mindset and innovative problem-solving skills that allow you to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement innovative business strategies to enhance market penetration and identify new growth opportunities. Drive lead generation and pipeline development through market analysis, cold calling, networking, and digital outreach. Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs and exploring opportunities for further product & service integrations. Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product Development, Customer Success) to align efforts and drive business growth. Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing feedback to refine product offerings and marketing strategies. Represent this business at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. More Specifically, You Have: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy B2B SaaS sector, with a proven track record of successful sales target achievements and business development. Proven ability to manage and grow a sales pipeline, utilising both incoming marketing leads and out-of-the-box techniques to hunt new opportunities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with evidence of building strong internal and customer relationships. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools (HubSpot preferred). A strong team player mindset, with the ability to work independently.
